Who We Are
The mission of Cognitive Warriors is to improve access to quality health care for children and families affected by cognitive disorders and especially the men and women of the US military suffering from mental health conditions such as depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. We work to help them to find the latest resources and technologies that are available to diagnose and treat cognitive disorders.
Technology is emerging at a rapid pace and it is our goal to assist individuals to become more informed about the “hope” that exists in the cognitive care arena. Some of these approaches may include, cognitive behavioral therapy, genomic testing, biofeedback testing, new cloud-based crowd-sourced technologies, electroencephalogram testing to match medications to a patient’s unique neurophysiology or telemedicine to improve access to trained and licensed practitioners.
Our goal is to assist 1,000,000 men and women who have served in the U.S. military and reduce suicide rates within this population while helping them to better advocate for themselves and their families.
Cognitive Warriors is a nonsectarian, nonpartisan, tax-exempt organization under section 501 (c)(3). The work of Cognitive Warriors has been made possible by the generous support of Sanford Health.
